Learning Log 26

I learn that its important to start criticism with something positive you notice in the writer's story. It'll keep the writer open and more relax to criticism and notice that somethings are best to keep. Another thing I learn that its important that when you critique, you should inform the writer WHY you had such a strong reaction (negative or positive). I found its important to be polite and respectful when you give or receive criticism.

I see myself as a help critique giver since I tend to notice that I have more of a positive reaction when it comes to things I dislike so it's easier to explain to the writer why I don't like something and that I am understanding to the writer's perspective.

I will improve on making sure to give better explanations to why I reacted to certain parts of the story.
